Abstract Background

Code of Ethics

Goal: To honestly share experiences with my faith informed by research and credible sources.

Be Honest

Experiences are to be documented with every attempt at honesty.

Given the fickle tendencies of memory, should an article be found factually incorrect in a minor way, it shall be edited or appended with the correction.

Should the article be found gravely incorrect, it will be retracted at once and corrected or discarded.

Use Credible, Catholic Sources

Articles focusing on the foundational faith and teachings of the Catholic Church must be approved with an Imprimatur to be considered a credible source for such important topics.

Articles on lowercase “t” traditions may cite sources that are widely recognized in the community and obtain their credulity by proper citation of their sources and a reasonable application of judgement.

Minimize Harm

Not all Catholic teachings are widely accepted, and some directly contradict popular opinions (such as on the topic of sexual orientation).  Articles should separate the act from the individual to minimize harm as much as possible while still truthfully representing the catholic faith.
